Southampton Echo report Posted by Hello

  • I read of the rise in tooth decay in Southampton children. A
Lanarkshire community dentist halved tooth decay by a pact between children, parents & teachers for youngsters to consume less sweets & fizzy drinks. They were taught how to clean their teeth correctly. Why do the authorities allow fizzy drink machines in school, if they want to cut tooth decay? Teeth need calcium & vitamin D & a wholesome diet. This also improves health & is much better than adding a toxic chemical to water supplies. Why should adults have to drink fluoride because of some children's junk diet. We wouldn't take a painkiller because our neighbour has a headache!
