Australia - No apathy here.
Around 150 people attended a public anti-fluoride meeting at the Lismore Workers Club last Thursday, while a meeting in Ballina last night (Wednesday) attracted about 100.

And when the health department hold meetings they have to "encourage" representatives of pressure gruops to attend. The only other people who ever go to their so called meetings, not that they hardly ever hold any public meetings...the only others who go are committed anti fluoridationists.
But the community public meetings are always well attended, by everyone apart from the health department...same everywhere.
