What is in Lincoln's drinking water?

Find out what is in your water.Arsenic, cyanide and lead are just three of the substances Lincoln residents could find in their water.
But try not worry – all elements are well within the safe range and pose little risk.
The data comes from a Drinking Water Quality Report carried out by Anglian Water which determines what is in the water we drink every day.
The latest report represents the organisation's findings in the period between January 2015 and March 2015.
It shows traces of Mercury, Fluoride, Nitrate, Solvents and more in Lincoln's water.
The water provided says: "Anglian Water's region is divided into around 160 water supply areas called Public Water Supply Zones, each providing our customers with an excellent drinking water supply.
"We carry out around 140,000 tests each year on drinking water samples taken from customer taps.
"The number of drinking water samples we take and tests we carry out, are specified in the current Water Supply Regulations and our regulator, the Drinking Water Inspectorate, carry out regular audits to make sure we comply with these regulations.
"To make sure the quality of the drinking water we supply remains excellent, we sometimes need to carry out work ensure we continue to meet the legal limits."
